Christodoulos Christodoulou, Embryology Team Lead
Chris is a highly trained embryologist with an MSc in Clinical Embryology from Oxford University and a background in Biology. He began his career at The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, followed by further training at the University Hospital of Ghent in Belgium and TFP Oxford Fertility in the UK.
Chris now leads the embryology procedures at Cryos IVF Clinic, combining his extensive international experience with a deep commitment to patient care and excellence.
Afet Soykok, Senior Clinical Embryologist
Afet holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Eastern Mediterranean University and an MSc in Reproductive Medicine from the University of Kent. She began her career in 2019 and joined Cryos as Senior Clinical Embryologist in November 2023.
Specializing in advanced IVF techniques, including ICSI, embryo biopsy, cryopreservation, and embryo transfer, Afet is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. She works closely with the clinical team to tailor personalized treatment plans while ensuring strict adherence to laboratory protocols.
Cecilia Pérez Caso, Embryologist
Cecilia is an experienced Embryologist with a Master’s Degree in Assisted Reproduction and Reproductive Genetics from Universidad de Alcalá. After specializing in reproductive medicine, she spent two years conducting research before gaining hands-on experience in IVF clinics across Spain and in Equatorial Guinea.
At Cryos IVF Clinic, Cecilia contributes to all aspects of the IVF process, including oocyte retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilization, embryo culture and grading, embryo transfer, and cryopreservation. She is dedicated to applying her expertise to help patients on their path to parenthood, ensuring the highest standards of care in every step of the fertility process.
Maria Andreou, Senior Fertility Nurse/Team Lead of Nurses & Coordinators
Maria is a registered nurse with over 10 years of experience in the fertility field, having trained at Cyprus University of Technology. As Senior Fertility Nurse at Cryos IVF Clinic, she leads a team of nurses, midwives, and coordinators, overseeing their training, professional development and well-being.
Maria also plays an active role in patient treatment, conducting thorough evaluations by reviewing patients’ questionnaires, medical histories, and treatment protocols and monitoring their progress during stimulation, assisting doctors in the operating room, and meticulously organizing individualized treatment plans for each patient.
Aikaterini Rousoudiou, Fertility Nurse
Aikaterini is an educated nurse who plays an essential role in ensuring that patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their treatment. She is responsible for a wide range of tasks, from patient reception and evaluations to assisting in inseminations, ultrasound scans, and oocyte retrievals.
Aikaterini is also responsible for coordinating your treatment plan and offering clear instructions, ensuring you understand each step of the process. She works closely with the medical team to maintain the highest standards of care and is committed to creating a positive and reassuring experience for every patient.
Stella Gavriel, International Patient and Marketing Coordinator
Stella has a background in travel, tourism, and hotel management. As International Patient and Marketing Coordinator at Cryos IVF Clinic, she is the main point of contact for both international and local patients. Her responsibilities include providing comprehensive information, coordinating medical documentation, and ensuring transparent communication regarding treatment costs and logistics. Additionally, she works closely with the clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care and manages marketing events and social media content.
She is dedicated to improving patient experiences and supporting Cryos’ growth and innovation.
